By now, you’ve probably heard that our annual fundraising gala in support of the True Companions mission is fast approaching. Each year in the middle of fall, we host our incredible supporters for one magical night at the Four Seasons in Denver. In this blog, we’ll lay out all the details you need to know ahead of the big event. 

  

How it started: The History of our Annual Gala 

Our Gala began nearly 40 years ago with one goal in mind: continue the support that started this journey to what is now an institution, True Companions Animal Shelter. Over time, the event has grown and evolved into the elegant experience it is today.  

  

Why do we host this gala annually?  

Year after year, the annual True Companions gala provides our dedicated supporters with an opportunity to come together in celebration of a unified cause. What connects each of them? Their impassioned support of the No Kill mission and our shelter operations.  

  

Not only is this event an opportunity to celebrate the cause together, but it also serves as our pinnacle fundraising event of the year; ensuring our ability to give the most vulnerable animals across our great state and beyond a new lease on life. All proceeds fundraised through the gala experience go directly towards the shelter and care of our adoptable animals. 

  

This Year’s Theme: Game of Homes 

Do you consider yourself a big Game of Thrones fan? Have you been watching House of the Dragon? If you answered yes to either of those questions, you’re in luck! This year’s event theme is Game of Homes: Whiskers are coming. What does that mean? Think elevated, romantic medieval touches, themed entertainment, magical decor, and more! Who knows, maybe you’ll spot a suit of arms or two. 

  

The Venue and Menu: Elegance as always 

We’re so excited to host this night of extravagance at the remarkable Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Denver. For the last few years, we’ve partnered with the Four Seasons to host this event, and each year their team wows our guests.
